The meetings will be open to the public and this notice is provided under the Open Meetings Act, 1967 PA 267, as amended, MCL 15.261 to 15.275. The meeting location is barrier-free and accessible to individuals with special needs. Individuals needing special accommodations or assistance to attend or address the Executive Committee should contact the Authority at (947) 729-8725 prior to the meeting to assure compliance with Subtitle A of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Public Law 101-336, as amended, 42 USC 12131 to 12134.

A copy of the proposed minutes of the meetings will be available for public inspection on the Authority’s website within 8 business days. A copy of the approved minutes of the meetings, including any corrections, will be available for public inspection on the Authority’s website within 5 business days after approval by the Executive Committee.

July 14: Notice of Meeting Location Change

The location of the regular meeting of the executive committee of the CLEMIS Authority, scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Oakland Community College – Southfield Campus, 22322 Rutland Drive, Southfield, MI 48075, will be changed from Room A209 to Room A202.

June 29: Notice of Meeting Location Change

The location of the regular meeting of the executive committee of the CLEMIS Authority, scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., will be changed from White Lake Charter Township Hall, 7525 Highland Road, White Lake, MI 48383 to Oakland Community College – Southfield Campus, 22322 Rutland Drive, Room A209, Southfield, MI 48075.

The Hiring subcommittee will meet on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Farmington City Hall, 23600 Liberty St, Farmington, MI 48335. January 29: Executive Committee Meeting Date Change

January 26: Executive Committee Meeting Schedule Change

The CLEMIS Authority hereby announces a change to the regular meeting schedule for the Executive Committee. All future Executive Committee meetings will be held at 2:00 PM at the offices of Dykema Gossett PLLC in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2026.

December 10 Board Meeting

November 10: Inaugural Board Meeting

The CLEMIS Authority reached a historic milestone with the successful completion of its first board meeting, marking the beginning of a new chapter as an independent government authority. The meeting commenced with the formal swearing-in of nine dedicated board members who will guide CLEMIS Authority's mission to serve public safety agencies across the region and beyond. During this inaugural session, the board conducted essential organizational business by thoroughly reviewing, discussing, and adopting 24 foundational resolutions that will establish the framework for CLEMIS Authority's operations and governance moving forward. This achievement represents months of careful planning and preparation as CLEMIS transitions from its previous structure to become a fully independent authority positioned for national expansion. October 1: The Authority Forms

Oakland County, Bloomfield Township, and White Lake Township have jointly established the CLEMIS Authority under Section 28 of Article 7 of the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and the Urban Cooperation Act of 1967. This new intergovernmental entity enables the participating agencies to exercise criminal justice and public safety services collectively while maintaining each agency's separate operational authority. The CLEMIS Authority was created to operate and manage the CLEMIS System, providing a legally binding government-to-government framework that strengthens cross-jurisdictional data sharing and collaborative coordination between member agencies. This formal authority structure ensures sustainable, long-term operations that support enhanced situational awareness and intelligence-driven operations across the region.
